How to Activate Feature "Protect IP address in calls"
You can protect your IP address in WhatsApp calls by following steps:
- Select Settings
- Select Privacy
- Select Advanced
- On the "Protect IP address in calls"
Availability
This new feature is available on both Android and iOS.
Advantage
By using this Privacy feature, the Receiver of a call is not able to identify the IP address.
Disadvantage
WhatsApp call quality may be adversely affected as the call is routed from different places. User experience may not be good.
